We use Honor Country Flock Starter/Grower feed from the time are chicks were a day old, to when they are 6 weeks old. It comes in a 25 pound bag. It contains Amprolium, which aids in prevention of coccidiosis. For our four chicks, 25 pounds is just about right. After 6 weeks, we use Del's all purpose poultry ration. It comes in 50 pound bags, and costs $9.49 per bag at Del's Farm Supply in Auburn, WA.
